Where the mountain meets the moon

Minli lives in a very poor village where she, her mother, and her father are crowded in to a tiny house. She hears of a man in the moon that can grant any wish and And Minli decides that she must find him and ask him to grant her family wealth. Along her journey, she encounters first a dragon who is both a friend and an enemy but who also companies her. Next she meets the green tiger, a creature of horror that is most definitely an enemy. When Minli and the dragon finally reach the man of the moon, she must make a very hard decision, to grant the dragon the power to fly or to grant her family with wealth

I really like this book and it was interesting that it was completely based off of Chinese legends.

The whole book is written on one day. What is so cool about it is that every other chapter, you get to see everyone else perspective being narrated. you also get to see snippets of the future. I really like this book but it does have mature content and language
