So I decided to take a quick break from Lés Mis and read another book but then I forgot until this weekend and read a really quick easy book.

Double fudge is about a boy named Peter Hatcher  who is in 7th grade and his little brother fudge (Farly Drexel). Fudge is crazy. Like not normal little kid crazy but actually insane. And one day he becomes obsessed with money so the family goes to Washington DC to see where money is made and somewhere along the way the run in to their long lost cousins from Hawaii. They consist of two identical twin girls Peters age and One little boy Fudge`s age (Also named Farley Drexel but he ends up going by minnie fudge) the girls are known as the heavenly Hatchers all across Hawaii and cause great embarrassment to Peter at school.

This book is funny and a super light read.

In this part of the book, still in the beginning part, the bishop is known for going on horribly dangerous adventures but now people think he is crazy because he is going to visit a crazy dying man. This old man G____ is known for doing things like voting for the kings execution so he was banished to outside of the town where he lives. When the bishop comes to visit, he somehow knows that he only has 3 hours left to live and that he will die in the night.
I actually like this book so far but it is super confusing!

SOL number 1

SOL #1 

The sand is so cold that it burns. My bare feet sting so bad,

 “ Oh my gosh, when is it going to warm up!?” 

“ I thought that the sand dunes are supposed to be hot!” 

we slowly trudge through the deep, shifting sand and slowly make our way up, up ,up to the highest dune. I open my mouth to talk but instead, I get a mouthful of sand and sputter.  When we get to the next point, we colapse, raise our frozen feet to the sky, and rest our heaving lungs. 

I so wish I had socks right now. 

“ everyone up!” 

(Groans) 

“ oh no, we have to go straight up hill now” 

(two hours later) 

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OGM 

WERE AT TEH TOP! 

“and im dead, no wait im going to run down the highest dune!” 

stupid idea by the way. 

But it was fun :)

Les Mis, a 1,463 page book takes a LONG time to even read just the beginning so this is what I have read so far.
Basically in the beginning it doesn't really have a clear story to follow but it says a lot about the bishop and how he lets his mansion  be used as a hospital and goes to live in the old hospital. it also follows another man as he travels to Digne, France. The whole story take place in France. So far, this book is really confusing and i don't really know whats going on but I think that It will get better.

This book follows the story of Katie, who was a transgender boy until she turned 18 and transitioned to being a girl. It follows her life through collage and talks about her facing depression, bullying and happiness.

this book does have mature language and topics but it is a really good and eye opening book to read.

the curious incident of the dog in the night time

This book follows the story of a 15 year old boy named Christopher who has autism and is following the case of who killed his neighbors dog, Wellington but by the end, he finds out that the people he thought that he trusted are not people he can trust anymore an he ends up facing a lot of his fears. I think that although  he did face his fears I was not super satisfied with the end of this book because through the whole book he lacked lots of emotion.It did however,  make you see how other people see the world.

I would recommend this book to sloan and Fyodor

This book focuses on a boy named Christopher who has autism. One of his neighbors dogs is murdered and he finds the dog and decides to find out who did it. He decides to go and talk to some of his neighbors about the dog but instead of hearing about the dog, he finds a lot of things out about himself and his family. Because of his autism, Christopher doesn’t see everything we see but he also notices thing we wouldn’t see. He sees the world in a completely different way. One of the most noticeable things is that he seems to have a large lack of emotion, when he is talking about his mom dying he doesn’t feel sad, not because he didn`t love her but just because he doesn’t understand or feel much emotion.

This graphic novel is about a girl named Raina who knocks out her two front teeth in 6th grade but she has some complications so that she had to basically rearrange her whole mouth with years of braces, fake teeth and a whole lot of drama. This book focuses on not only her dental drama but also friend, boy and family drama. there is also an other book called sisters that focuses on Raina. I actually Love this book and recommend it to anyone.

A long walk for water

This story focuses on a boy named Salva and a girl named Nya. Salva lives in Sudan with his big family and he is a hppy boy, his family has enough food and water and they are pretty wealthy until one day, Salva is at school and the gunshots started, the war had come to his village and he had to flee. He had no idea where he was going or if his family is even alice or not. Less of the story focuses on a young girl named Nya, who walks for water twice a day.

I actually really enjoyed reading this book and think that it could be good for anyone to read! It is also a very quick read!

This graphic novel is about a confused 18 year old girl who lost her soul and is searching for it. she comes to the conclusion that her mother sold and the souls of her two sisters who had been turned in to cats... she thinks. as she finds these things out, she is going on a road trip with some new friends.

This book was really short and it really did not have a very clear middle and end. I did not really like this book but it did only take me like an hour to read.  

Peter And The star catchers

This is a really good book about basically how peter pan got to never land and could fly.

Peter and the boys who then become the lost boys, are sent away from their orphanage on a five week voyage on a run down old ship called The Never Land. Well this ship happens to contain a special chest full of star stuff, the magical powder that has crazy magical powers. But There is also a star catcher on the ship, a young girl named Molly. The dreaded pirate black stache is hunting the treasure and when he finds it, he will kill anyone left on the ship.

I did really like this book because I really love Peter Pan.

There is a scene that I really  enjoyed from this book was a scene of relief  of which Peter finally finds land after being stuck at sea for so long.

When she turns ten, she is put in to a coma and shown the entire history of willow falls and she has all the magic when she wakes up. but all she seems to be able to do is conjure up a pizza.

One of the strongest characters in this story was Grace. even though she was only ten, Wendy Mass did a really good job showing what a big personality Grace had.

See You At Harry`s

Fern always felt like her mother was a little distant from her mother and her father was so absorbed in the "family" restaurant that she doesn't even bother trying with him. Her true friend in her family is her older brother Holden who always made hideouts together when they were young and they always have each other  until Charlie is born. Now Charlie is three years old and Fern loves him at heart but sometimes it just doesn't  make sense to her why Charlie always is loved and cuddled like she never was. Then she finds that Holden has a secret that changes everything. One day her family is working happily and the next, a terrible tragedy strikes them and Fern knows its her fault. She knows now that she really does love charlie, and the rest of her family.

This book is really good but SO SO sad. It made me cry.
I would say that it does have some cursing and mature content like one of the characters is gay and there is death.
