You choose to feel.

You run,
You jump,
Your feet feel nothing but air,
Your head pounds
You are weightless,
You are falling,
Usually this would scare you but today it doesn't,
Your hair flails in the wind that you can not feel,
You wish desperately for someone there to catch you,
You want to fall forever,
you hit the water,
all you feel is a sharp sting for a split second,
You are falling but slowly,
You are drifting through the water,
You chose not to feel the iciness, the burn of cold,
you feel a hand, tugging you up,
It gets stronger,
You feel a  yank
you burst forth from the water,
You breath,
You feel the warm hands holding you,
You chose to feel them,
You want to feel them,
You jump,
You go up,up up,
You feel weightless once again,
you know this time the hands will be there to catch you,
You know the hands will lead to arms  and the arms will lead to a body and the body will lead to a neck and then a head and a smiling face and the shaggy hair,
You know you will then be safe,
 So You fall.
