Everyone has an idea of perfect, whether it is to be the best at a sport, have the perfect family and friends, or have the perfect body. This book focuses on four high school students who are all striving to be their version of perfect and they will do whatever it takes to get there even if it means starving themselves to death, doing drugs, or lying and deceiving the people around them. But how long can they keep up before they realize that they have set an impossible goal.

I really like this book so far, even though it is written in a different format. It does have a lot of mature language and content and is a really dense book but so far it is good!

He doesn't know what to do when the shunning and hate spreads to him to but he loves her, and now he has to choose.

Where the mountain meets the moon

Minli lives in a very poor village where she, her mother, and her father are crowded in to a tiny house. She hears of a man in the moon that can grant any wish and And Minli decides that she must find him and ask him to grant her family wealth. Along her journey, she encounters first a dragon who is both a friend and an enemy but who also companies her. Next she meets the green tiger, a creature of horror that is most definitely an enemy. When Minli and the dragon finally reach the man of the moon, she must make a very hard decision, to grant the dragon the power to fly or to grant her family with wealth

I really like this book and it was interesting that it was completely based off of Chinese legends.

Josie Taylor is turning 16 today but this is only her 4th birthday, because she was born on leap day. This book is about Josie taylor and her classmates on leap day. The whole book is written on one day. What is so cool about it is that every other chapter, you get to see everyone else perspective being narrated. you also get to see snippets of the future. I really like this book but it does have mature content and language

 her father is shipwrecked and she loses all of their money and has to live in the attic and wear rags.


This is a really good, old book. There are on mature topics.

The trumpet of the swan

I know this is a really young book but i ran out of time to find a better one

Luis is A trumpeter swan and all  of his family member can make beautiful trumpeting sounds but luis can't. His father steals him a brass trumpet and a chalkboard and chalk to write on but first of course he must learn to write first. One day a boy finds Luis and takes him to the city and to camp where th swan saves a child and therefore becomes famous in the town.

I really do like this book even of it is for a younger audience. it is a really quick, good story.

Ally doesn't know why anyone would ever want to leave this amazing place that has a hot springs in the back yard and amazing telescopes for seeing the stars and planets. She grew up relying on and starring at the stars but when she moves to the city, she won't be able to see them.

Bree is a city girl, she is beautiful, has a BFF, and is growing up to be a model. But no one else in her family is like her.  They are all  super smart, love to study astronomy even her little assister Melanie. One day her parents say the words "we are moving to an astronomy camp in the middle of nowhere and your going to be home schooled" This is Bree`s worst nightmare.


Jack was forced int o going to Moon Shadow. it was either that or summer school. He failed science class and now has to go on a two week camping trip with his teacher and a bunch of old people and kids to see some solar eclipse that he doesn't care about whatsoever.

All three of them meet up and bond through the two weeks while preparing to se the solar eclipse.

I really liked this book! it was a really quick read but I wish it was longer. there is no mature language or content.

Anya`s ghost

Anya is slightly rejected by her peers and family but one day she makes a friend. She is walking in the park and falls down in to a well she is fine but when she looks around she sees a skeleton... and a ghost. The ghost is of a young girl who was pushed down the well or so she says. they become good friends but Anya doesn't know the truth... until its to late.

this graphic novel was pretty good at the end it actually got really creepy but it was a good quick read. I think i read it in an hour.

Have you ever had.

Have you ever had that one person who literally meant the world to you? Who you really couldn't live without? I used to have one of those People, a best friend. We loved each other but not in a romantic way, only Ina way that we understood. She walked in to my life with ought asking permission, she walked in and sat down in he middle of my heart. I cared about her more than anything, and she cared about me. I had her for so long, I took her for granted, didn't know there was a life where I didn't have her. I didn't think I could servive in that world.

But I gues I can. Because she's gone now.  She walked away but she didn't take the part of me that cared about her so much, no she left that part. She walked away and it seemed as though she forgot. Which I don't understand. She hurt me more than anything had ever hurt before, worse than the worst physical Pain because people can't see it, they can't take you to s doctor to makeit go away. It haunts you forever, hanging over your head.  And people say "make new friends!", hats not how it works ok? You expect me because I seem fine, to be fine. Meybe I'm better at hiding it then you think. Because I'm not fine. I'm torn to shreds. 

The side that you won't see

When I knew I already had what I wanted, needed. Sometimes all I can do is laugh to keep the tears from coming down. When I remember how it used to be, when you used to be there.

The dying snowflake

We Are All Made of Molecules

this book is about a boy named Stewart and a girl named Ashley. They are opposites. Stewart is 13 and really smart and nice. he also goes to a school called little genius academy.... Ashely goes to a "normal" high school and is super popular and yes, mean. they both like their lives just the way they are but everything changes when Ashley`s mom and Stewarts dad fall in love. And things go further down hill when Stewart and his dad movie in with Ashley and her mom. Ashley and stewart fight though living together and  lots of Drama at school.

over all, I thought that his was a pretty good book. I read it in one night but it probably took like 5-6 hours. it does have mature language and topics.
